Deposits, Payments and Refunds
A 50% deposit is required to secure your
reservation due at the time of booking. The remaining
50% must be paid by June 30, or by 30 days prior
to your arrival date if you are booking after June
30. There are no refunds if reservations are cancelled
after June 30. Acceptable payments include: personal
check, credit card, or money order. These are general
guidelines, and more specific details may vary according
to the booking agent.
Parking
There is space for two cars with each unit. If you
have an additional vehicle such as a boat trailer,
please contact us for parking availability at info@cobbnob.com.
Beach Access
You are always welcome to walk the 200’ private
path down through a verdant field to a fabulous
sand and rock beach. The beach is always available
to you. You can dig clams and pick mussels, as well
as launch kayaks, canoes and swim from here. You
are welcome to use it for picnics and enjoying sunsets
and warm summer days. It is sheltered by islands,
so there is no surf, making it ideal for our youngsters.
It is unusual to find sand beaches in this area,
and this beach is flanked by two rock bound points
which are home to crabs, barnacles, whelks, rockweed,
brine shrimp and a multitude of other inter-tidal
creatures. The beach is shared by three families.
Laundry
You are welcome to use the laundry facilities which
include a large capacity washer and two dryers.
The facility is shared by two other units. These
are free for you to use, and include detergent.
Road Noise
There is virtually zero road noise, or noise from
your neighbors. There are some other properties
within 1000 yards, but there is abundant green fencing,
and the area is extremely private, quiet, well situated,
and without public access of any kind. Cobb Nob
is located at the end of the road.
Pets
We love our pets, and we welcome you to bring yours
to enjoy Cobb Nob. However, your pet must weigh
less than 25 pounds. There will be no exceptions
to this rule.
Duplex
Cobb Nob is a duplex house. There are two units
in the building that share a common insulated wall.
The decks, windows, doors and parking lot are laid
out to assure maximum privacy.
